Former OmniActive Executive Darrec Jones Joins Valensa as Global Head of Sales and Business Development

ORLANDO, Fla. (August 2, 2021) – Darrec Jones bringing over a decade of expertise building nutritional ingredient brands for OmniActive, has joined Valensa international as Global Head of Sales and Business Development.

Darrec spent 11 years at OmniActive Health Technologies growing the organization from a start up to a highly reputable supplier in the nutritional supplement industry.   During his OmniActive tenure multiple promotions culminated in the role of  VP of Global Business Development.  He joined OmniActive after spending 3 years with DNP International, a raw ingredients suppler.  As Sales Director & East Coast Facility Manager Darrec led a team of 15 employees and oversaw a 90,000 sq ft warehouse of nutraceutical ingredients. Before DNP Darrec worked in an executive leadership capacity for more than a decade in import/export, transportation and non-profit industries where he developed valuable business skills and insight.

A D1  soccer player at East Carolina University, where he earned a BS in Science and Business Administration, Darrec says that that the passion honed on the field for teamwork, mentoring and winning also contributes to his professional accomplishments.
